The Rockies – Jasper

One of the places J was most looking forward to was the Canadian Rockies as her parents had been here almost 20 years ago and loved it. So first to Jasper

 

 

Hiking to Pyramid Lake

So one day fortunately the sun was shining so we hiked up to a couple of the nearby lakes so we could see the famous blue colours

Pyramid Lake in the sunshine. It looks lovely but can't tell you how cold it was with the wind coming across the lake

Hiking back down into Jasper you get a great view down the length of the Rockies
