Seattle – Museum of Flight

Another day, another aircraft exhibition, much to J’s delight…  This time the Museum of Flight just outside Seattle.  Geek, geek…

Remember this;

DSC06410b Wish they had kept them going.  Inside was tiny but as it only took a couple of hours to get across the “pond” I guess people didn’t need much room.

The first lady (of this blog) waving to the crowds from Air Force One – now that’s the way to travel.

The first ever 747;

The original Boeing Factory (more of a woodworking shop).  The museum bought the building from Boeing for $1 but had to move it from the original location to this site;

Inside the museum (guess what souvenir I bought in Alaska!)

Don’t think they designed Blackbirds for people my size;

This sporty little F/A-18 Hornet is a much better fit – at $78m each I’ll take 2;
