Jackson Hole, Wyoming

 

We weren't quite sure what to expect as it’s a major ski resort in winter but in summer......

Very pretty little town. Every evening during summer at 6pm they have a shoot out in the main square. Sadly this finished for the season just before we got there but the whole town feels very wild west.

On each corner of the square is a massive arch made out of elk antlers with a pair of moose antlers in the middle announcing which town you are in

You can still see the western influence everywhere, wooden side walks and cowboy bars

Oh yes, you have to make sure things are nailed down otherwise the local wildlife makes off with things like benches.....
