San Francisco - 76 Alumni Golf Tourney
June 6th to 9th took us to San Francisco for the annual '76 Alumni Golf Tourney'. This is an annual get together of a bunch of guys who all worked at Philips 76 oil some time ago. Over the years it's been expanded to include some of their friends, hence how I got invited - thanks Harry.
This years event was organised by Joe Balestreri (aka Joey Bag 'o' Donuts, aka Joey Bags), who did a magnificent job with the golf, dinners and hotel accommodations. Thanks Joey.

A few pics of the Gala dinner;
Harry collecting his 'nearest the pin' prize from Joey;
The competition was played by Team Cali (all those resident in Califronia) vs Team America/World (everyone else).
Team America;
Note the arm patches for state/country of origin.
In the end Team America led by team captain Harry Allen, Captain USN (Retd). beat Team Cali by 5.5 to 4.5.
The only player to win both his matches is seated in the middle with the Claret Jug trophy...
Looking forward to defending our title next year.
