Carmel - Pebble Beach Golf

Whilst spending a few days in Carmel we walked up the beach to have a look at Pebble Beach golf course.  At $595 + Caddie + taxes + commemorative shirt and hat it's one of the most expensive golf courses in America.  So I felt we had to have a look.

As there were paths up from the beach and no fence we went for a closer look;

Every one there was very nice so we wandered around taking photos, chatting to the marshals and eventually stopped for some lunch.

Harry: No I didn't play - but was very tempted.  You can play Pebble for half price in the afternoon if you play one of the other courses in the morning - what do you think?
