Art in Twenty Nine Palms

Continuing the tour of strange installation art, Twenty Nine Palms is famous for 2 very different art 'shows'.

Several of the towns buildings are decorated with murals linked to the history of the town;





























The other show is by the artist Noah Purifoy.  I'll let the pictures explain (if they can);







Any clearer?  Nope, nor me.

  1. Clearly it references the transience of worldly possessions and humans in an uncaring world. I particularly like the second photo. Excellent. (Are you sure it isn't just a bunch of tramps that have moved on somewhere?)
